Wis.-Milwaukee 68, Wright St. 53
DAYTON, Ohio (AP)—Dylan Page scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Wisconsin-Milwaukee to a 68-53 victory over Wright State on Tuesday night.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee (14-5, 9-0 Horizon League) led Wright State (10-9, 7-2) by only one point at 20-19 going into the second half but had increased its lead to 14 points with 11:24 remaining in the game.
Wright State cut the lead to 47-41 at the 6:23 mark, but could never get any closer. Wisconsin-Milwaukee led by 18 points with only 31 seconds left to play.
Ed McCants, who scored 16 points for Wisconsin-Milwaukee, made three of his four 3-pointers in the second half. Joah Tucker added 15 points.
Vernard Hollis led scoring for Wright State with 13 points, and Alex Kock added 11.
