Bowling Green 86, Cent. Michigan 61
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP)—John Reimold and Kevin Netter each scored 20 points to lead Bowling Green to an 86-61 win over Central Michigan on Sunday.
The Falcons (8-8, 4-2 Mid-American Conference) shot 63.6 percent from the field while holding the Chippewas (3-12, 0-5) to 43.6 percent.
Bowling Green was efficient on offense, tallying 27 assists to only 11 turnovers, and making 8-of-13 attempts from 3-point range. Both teams took 55 field goal attempts, but the Falcons made 35 and the Chippewas only 24.
Reimold hit 8-of-12 shots and 4-of-6 3-pointers, while Netter finished 9-of-12. Josh Almanson scored 16 points for Bowling Green on 8-of-12 shooting and had eight rebounds.
Gerrit Brigitha led Central Michigan with 21 points and Brandon Voorhees added 11.
The defending champion Chippewas are the only MAC team without a league win this season.
