Manhattan 90, Niagara 81
LEWISTON, N.Y. (AP)—Luis Flores scored 28 points to rally Manhattan past Niagara 90-81 Friday night.
Manhattan trailed 38-47 at halftime but jumped ahead midway through the second half on a decisive 21-7 run. Flores keyed the spurt, tying the game at 61 with 10:22 to go with a three-point play.
Dave Holmes scored all 15 of his points in the second half for Manhattan (9-3, 4-0 MAAC). Peter Mulligan had 15 points, Jason Benton 13, and Kenny Minor 10. Holmes also added nine rebounds.
Juan Mendez led Niagara (8-4, 2-1 MAAC) with 25 points and 14 rebounds. Tremmell Darden scored 16 points, J.R. Duffey 11, and Lorenzo Miles 10 and David Brooks nine.
