HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP)—Kenny Adeleke had 21 points and 10 rebounds for his fourth consecutive double-double to lead Hofstra to an 85-56 victory over Towson on Wednesday night.

Freshman Loren Stokes had 16 points for the Pride (6-7, 2-1 Colonial Athletic Association), while Wendell Gibson added 10.

Lawrence Hamm topped the Tigers (3-8, 0-2) with 12 points, one more than Mike Green.

Hamm’s jumper got Towson within 18-14 with 12:56 left in the first half. Hofstra then closed the half with a 33-10 run behind Danny Walker’s seven points and six from Stokes to go up 51-24.

Walker’s layup with 15:10 to go gave Hofstra its biggest lead, 63-27. Towson never got closer than 73-54 on a free throw by Green with 5:11 left.
