ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP)—Bernard Robinson Jr. scored 15 points to lead Michigan to a 74-57 win over Bowling Green on Saturday.

Lester Abram collected 14 points for the Wolverines, and Daniel Horton and J.C. Mathis each added 11.

Michigan (5-1) is 3-1 against the Falcons the past four seasons. Bowling Green (2-5) has lost five straight after opening the season with two wins.

Bowling Green’s Austin Montgomery led all scorers with 18 points, while Ronald Lewis added 13 points and Josh Almanson contributed 10 points.

Bowling Green pulled to within 16-13 with 8:47 remaining in the first half, but Michigan closed with a 23-11 run to take a 39-24 lead. Seven different Michigan players scored during that late spurt.

The Falcons came on strong through the first five minutes of the second half to pull within 46-37, but the Wolverines went on an 11-4 run during the next six minutes.

Michigan went with a different starting lineup after using the same one in the first five games.

Graham Brown replaced Chris Hunter, who did not dress because of a knee injury. Dion Harris started at point guard for Daniel Horton, and Sherrod Harrell started for Lester Abram at wing.

Horton has struggled all season, coming into the game with twice as many turnovers as assists. Abram did not play well last weekend in Michigan’s loss at Vanderbilt.
