South Florida 71, Saint Louis 64

TAMPA, Fla. (AP)—Will McDonald scored 17 points and Jimmy Baxter had 15 as South Florida beat Saint Louis 71-64 on Saturday night.

Reggie Kohn added 12 points for South Florida (12-8, 5-4 Conference USA) and also had seven assists and four steals.

Drew Diener, Josh Fisher and Marque Perry scored 15, 14 and 13 points, respectively, for Saint Louis (8-12, 2-7).

South Florida improved to 11-1 in the Sun Dome. The Billikens are winless in eight road games.

Fisher hit a 3-pointer to give Saint Louis its first lead at 45-43 with 13:50 left in the game.

McDonald hit two free throws on the last of six lead changes in the second half, starting an 8-0 run.

South Florida outscored Saint Louis 18-2 off turnovers en route to a 36-30 halftime lead.

Kohn gave the Bulls their biggest lead at 22-12 on a 3-pointer nine minutes into the game.

The Billikens scored seven unanswered points to make it 31-30 two minutes before the intermission.
