Manhattan 76, Rider 66
LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (AP)—Luis Flores scored 23 points as Manhattan won its seventh straight game with a 76-66 victory over Rider on Thursday night.
Manhattan led 41-31 early in the second half before Rider went on a 12-2 run to tie the game with 14:29 left to play. Jerry Johnson scored 10 of Rider’s 12 points during the spurt.
Manhattan then went on its own 13-0 run in less than three minutes. Dave Holmes scored five points during the run.
Holmes finished with 15 points and seven rebounds for Manhattan (11-3, 5-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Jared Johnson had 16 points for the Jaspers.
Rider (5-8, 0-4 MAAC) lost its fifth in a row despite 30 points from Jerry Johnson. Edwin Muniz added 13 points for the Broncs.
