HONOLULU (AP)—Danny Granger scored 23 points and Bradley used a big first-half run to pull away to a 95-68 victory over Alcorn State on Sunday in the consolation round of the Rainbow Classic.

Phillip Gilbert added 20 points, including nine in the 23-5 first-half run, for the Braves (3-7).

Bradley scored 16 of its 49 first-half points off 27 turnovers and wound up setting a tournament record with 20 steals. Bradley also recorded 31 assists.

Gilbert and Granger combined for 15 points in a 17-4 run at the start of the second half.

Granger, who was helped off the court with a head injury in Friday’s opening-round loss to Tennessee Tech, showed no ill-effects from the collision, shooting 10-of-16 from the field. Gilbert was 8-for-16 and finished with 20 points, while Jabbar Battle added 16 points.

Lee Cook had 13 points for Alcorn State (1-9), which lost its seventh consecutive game.
