All but one of the wins were by double digits. They still managed an at-large bid due to victories over NCAA teams VCU, Villanova and Illinois, as well as beating Kansas State. Xavier features balance and experience and a top-flight backcourt with Burrell and former Oklahoma transfer Lavender, who averaged 16 points in his final six games. Cage is a tenacious defender while Doellman and Duncan are multi-skilled big men at the forward slots. The Musketeers shoot well from the arc (39.6 percent) and defend well, limiting opponents to 64.3 points. They also will have a huge home crowd advantage, playing down the road from Cincinnati. NEXT GAME: Thursday vs. (8) BYU at Lexington, Kentucky
