OUTLOOK: The Badgers appeared as if they would be a top
contender for the national championship until leading rebounder
Brian Butch dislocated his elbow in the 49-48 loss at Ohio State
on February 25. Without the team's tallest starter, Wisconsin
has struggled to score despite the presence of Tucker - one of
the top candidates for the Wooden Award. Despite averaging 56
points over their last four games, the Badgers did reach the Big
Ten Conference tournament title game against the Buckeyes, who
went on to win and capture a top seed. Even with the offensive
struggles, Wisconsin can be a dangerous team because of the
threat of Tucker and a tough-nosed defense. Many tournament
teams might not be ready for its physical play.

NEXT GAME: Friday vs. (15) Texas A&M Corpus-Christi at Chicago
