Last year, former coach Gregg Marshall parleyed a first-round upset of Notre Dame into a job at Wichita State. Winthrop returns to the tournament for the fourth straight year after encountering tragedy in May, when backup point guard DeAndre Adams was killed in a car accident. Jenkins, who can be streaky, scored 33 points in the Big South championship game. Foul shooting could be the Eagles' undoing as they shoot just 59.5 percent from the line - 327th in Division I. Still, they have allowed only two opponents to surpass 70 points since the beginning of February and hold teams to 39.1 percent shooting. NEXT GAME: vs. No. 4 Washington State, Friday
