Law IV, perhaps the best clutch player in college ball, did little to diminish that notion by scoring 17 of his 26 points in the second half to send A&M into the regional semifinals for the first time since 1980. The reward for winning in Kentucky is a chance to play the next two games in San Antonio, starting with Thursday's matchup against No. 2 Memphis. The Aggies have received an unexpected offensive boost from junior guard Dominique Kirk, who scored a season-high 16 points in their first-round win over Pennsylvania and topped it with 21 against Louisville. A&M is the tournament's top defensive squad, limiting foes to 37.1 percent shooting, which keeps the team in every game (five of their six losses this season were by a total of 10 points). Jones and Kavaliauskas form a nice inside pairing so Memphis' best hope is to disrupt the Aggies with pressure defense. NEXT GAME: Thursday vs. (2) Memphis at San Antonio
