OUTLOOK: The Nick Fazekas show looks to make amends for last
season's stunning first-round loss to Montana. The three-time
WAC Player of the Year and career leading scorer in the
conference, Fazekas and Nevada are making their fourth
consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. Despite their lofty
record, the Wolf Pack struggled at the end of the season, losing
twice to Utah State and barely getting past New Mexico State in
their final four games. Fazekas is a double-double machine but
too often doesn't see the ball enough in the first half. He
has a talented, experienced supporting cast headed by Kemp, who
averaged 23.9 points in the last four contests and shoots 41
percent - as does the team - from 3-point range. Sessions needs
to take better care of the ball, having committed 21 turnovers
in his last four contests. Shiloh, Nevada's best defender, sat
out the WAC title game with a hamstring injury but is expected
to be ready for the opener against Creighton.

NEXT GAME: Friday vs. (10) Creighton at New Orleans
