OUTLOOK: All eyes will be on the Yellow Jackets on Friday, as
they were one of a few heavily criticized at-large teams put in
the tournament by the NCAA Selection Committee. Despite going
7-2 over its last nine regular-season games, Georgia Tech
finished just 8-8 in the ACC. It did record some high-profile
wins in that stretch by beating both North Carolina and Boston
College at home. The Yellow Jackets are led by a pair of
freshmen in Crittendon and Young, who have mixed well with the
three junior starters for a solid starting five. Crittendon is
a slick playmaker. Georgia Tech has done well to absorb the
loss of G Lewis Clinch, who was shooting 48 percent on
3-pointers before leaving the team at the start of January.

NEXT GAME: Friday vs. (7) Nevada-Las Vegas at Chicago
