OUTLOOK: There aren't too many ways to effectively attack 7-foot
Ohio State center Greg Oden, and a frontline that goes 6-7, 6-4
and 6-3 isn't among them. The Blue Devils have only nine
players on their roster and started the season 3-9, so they had
to stage a stunning turnaround - winning 17 of their final 18
games - to make the NCAAs for the third time since 2000. But
that was against NEC competition, not what awaits them against
the nation's top-ranked team. Blackwood and Mojica are
excellent 3-point shooters and not afraid to attack the basket,
but facing Oden & Co. is too tall an order. Central looks to
take heart from the fact that it gave second-seeded Iowa State
all it could handle in 2000.
