WSSU gets 82-61 victory over winless Columbia Union

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP)—Jamal Durham scored 17 points to lead three players in double figures as Winston-Salem defeated winless Columbia Union 82-61 on Wednesday night.

Darrell Wonge scored 16 points for the Rams (5-7) and Brian Fisher had 13. Paul Davis pulled down 12 rebounds.

Dana Clark led the Pioneers (0-14) with 22 points. Tim Turner had 17 and Anthony Linton got 13.

The Rams shot just 37.5 percent in the first half and led 31-26 at the break. But they converted 56 percent of their field goal attempts in the second half, hitting 18 of 32.

Winston-Salem took its biggest lead, 71-41, with 5:17 remaining after a 15-0 run that was capped by a dunk by Durham.
