DuBois leads Western Illinois to 85-56 win over Culver-Stockton

MACOMB, Ill. (AP)—David DuBois scored a game-high 20 points to lead Western Illinois to an 85-56 win over Culver-Stockton on Sunday.

James Washington added 17 points and Jerryck Owens-Murray added 10 points and 11 rebounds for Western Illinois (5-7), which led 43-27 at halftime.

Jordan Harris led Culver-Stockton (4-8) with 17 points, including five 3-pointers. Brice Fantazia added 15 points for the Wildcats.

Western Illinois entered the game averaging 60.7 points per contest but turned the statistic around with the help of eight 3-pointers Sunday, including four from Washington. The Leathernecks also outrebounded Culver-Stockton 43-28.

The Leathernecks are 4-2 at Western Hall this season and 1-5 on the road.
