Charleston Southern snaps 2-game skid against Florida Christian

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP)—Chris Moore hit five 3-pointers and scored 17 points as Charleston Southern routed Florida Christian 91-31 on Saturday night.

Austin Johnson added 15 points, Omar Carter scored 11 and Giedrius Knysas had 10 for the Buccaneers (4-4), who raced to a 28-point halftime lead against the Suns, who are a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association and not affiliated with the NCAA.

Wendell Coates had 15 points and six rebounds and was the only player in double figures for Florida Christian (2-10), which was playing its third game in as many nights.

Charleston Southern shot 49 percent, made 11 of 25 3-pointers and outrebounded the Suns 55-26 to snap a two-game losing streak.

Florida Christian shot 29 percent and committed 25 turnovers.
