If you had Feb. 9 in your pool for the first coach foolish enough to compare his team's losing streak to the devastation caused by the Haiti earthquake, congratulations, you're a winner!
Somewhat surprisingly, the coach in question is North Carolina's Roy Williams, who lost all perspective in a press conference on Tuesday when describing his level of frustration now that his reeling Tar Heels have lost six of seven entering tonight's Duke game.
"Our massage therapist told me, 'You know, coach, what happened in Haiti is a catastrophe. What you're having is a disappointment,' " Williams said. "I told her that depends on what chair you're sitting in. It does feel like a catastrophe to me, because it is my life."
Watching the video of Roy's statements, he did have a faint smile on his face as he relayed that story, but ... wow. Leaves you a bit speechless, doesn't it?
