    One surprising bit of news regarding Olympic basketball rosters this summer wasn't an NBA player opting out because of a Zika virus scare but a national team keeping a willing NBA player off their final roster. That's what happened with France when coach Vincent Collett opted against having Orlando Magic guard Evan Fournier play for his country. Fournier and fellow countryman Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz decided to sit out of the brief qualifying play in Manilla earlier this summer but both players were expected to be on the team for the 2016 Olympic games in Rio.
