      <description> &lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Hornets are off to a rough start on the road and now they embark on a three-game Western road trip that starts with the defending champion Lakers on Sunday night.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;New Orleans began the season with a lopsided loss at the Spurs, then got swept in back-to-back games at the Celtics and Knicks. The Hornets, who had beaten the Kings and the Mavericks in their first two home games, were blown out at home by the Raptors on Friday, 107-90, to fall to 2-4.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After playing the Lakers, the Hornets will stay in Los Angeles to play the Clippers on Monday before heading to Phoenix to play the Suns on Wednesday.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;"It doesn't get any easier for us," forward David West said. "They're all athletic teams.</description>
