Just don't tell the Nets it could always get worse. That's because every time they turn around, it does.

Before they remained winless Saturday, losing a seventh straight game to extend their worst-ever NBA start, they learned forward Chris Douglas-Roberts was diagnosed with swine flu. Douglas-Roberts played Wednesday against Denver, was not feeling well Thursday and, as a precaution, was quarantined for 24 hours Friday. On Saturday, the team revealed he tested positive for the H1N1 virus.

"It's been 24 hours and, I'm not 100 percent sure, but the stage of him being contagious is a day or so and it's run its course," said coach Lawrence Frank. "I talked to him today; he doesn't sound very good."

And the Nets don't look very good.
