Jodie Meeks' star-crossed time with the Detroit Pistons might be coming to an end. Shams Charania of Yahoo's The Vertical reports that the Pistons are "near" a trade to send the shooting guard to the Orlando Magic for a 2019 second-round draft pick. It was not immediately clear what the Pistons would be getting in return. Meeks is scheduled to make $6.54 million this coming season, the final one on his contract. Meeks was the first major signing of the Stan Van Gundy era in 2014, but he missed the first 22 games of the 2014-15 season with a back injury and then 79 games this season, after breaking his foot in October.
