The Pistons are in danger of burying themselves before getting back to full strength. With Atlanta coming to The Palace Sunday afternoon, they will have a difficult time snapping their seven-game losing streak.

At 5-11, the Pistons find themselves in strange territory: last in the Central Division. Not only have the Pistons endured a difficult schedule in November, they have been dogged by injuries. Tayshaun Prince (back) and Richard Hamilton (ankle) have played a combined four games. Leading scorer Ben Gordon joined them on the sidelines Friday with a left ankle sprain. None are expected to return against the Hawks, who are off to a 12-4 start.

"We have a great group of guys," Pistons head coach John Kuester said.

A small fire kept Detroit Pistons fans from watching most of the second half of Friday's 104-96 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
