NBA - Sports Rumors

“AntawnIt's looking like Washington Wizards' Antawn Jamison(notes) is going to miss the rest of the preseason after an MRI showed that his right shoulder is partially dislocated, according to the Washington Post. Team prez Ernie Grunfeld is saying that he man who has led the team in scoring the past two years will get another look-see next week to see how he's doing.

Jamison picked up the injury toward the end of the first quarter 109-104 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Something went awry when he tried to foul Cleveland reserve center Zydrunas Ilgauskas(notes). (Note to self: Never mess with a 260-pound, 7'3" Lithuanian.)

Last year Jamison sprained a knee in the preseason and missed a few weeks. At least he's getting all of this out of the way before the regular season starts.

This guy is obviously a liability for the washington wizards, what I suggest, is that they make a trade for him NOW, get something for him while they still can, Eddy Curry is available, he has slimmed down, and he is destined to have an all star caliber season, and if he goes to washington, that could be the catalyst to a hall of fame career, Eddy Curry would be a great addition to the Wizards, Jamison is good, but he is bound to go out on injury, Eddy Curry all star MVP 2009/2010 season, Eddy Curry for Antawn Jamison JUST DO IT, go knicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This guy is injury prone but his attitude is a positive for his team every time he plays basketball. Good Luck to Flip Saunders & his Wizards.

Eddie Curry? Give me a break. This guy must be related to Curry, otherwise, he wouldn't post such a ridiculous comment. Let's just pray that Twan heals fast and gets back on the court. Besides, the Wizards are showing how deep they are on the bench. We'll be okay in the long run, but we do hope that Jamison gets back to game-shape and contributes to the team...THIS SEASON! Eddie Curry?? What a joke.

Wizards seem to be a team full of liabilities. They really should make some changes.

I would say trade arenas he is finally back from his injury but doesn't really fit with what the wizards are trying to do. he looks completely out of place now. trade arenas for a good 5 or decent one and a draft pick and move on...

wizards looking very deep this year. all thats missing is a good veteran presence they really should have entered the bidding wars for sean marks from the hornets, hes won a championship plus been around championship contenders for years now with 2 years in san antonio and then in pheonix when they got shafted by the refs n then now the hornets. if hed made the wizards id feel a whole lot better about their chances this season...
