NBA - Scoop Du Jour

After not appearing in an NBA game in the 2009-2010 season, forward Shawne Williams(notes) spent this past season with the New York Knicks and, according to HoopsWorld, he's hoping for a return.

"That's what I want to do," Williams told HoopsWorld. "I just want to get familiar with one organization. I don't like the journey, hopping around. It don't have to be long term. It can be one year. Whatever helps. I'm not trying to break the bank because I'm not thinking that's realistic. I'm just trying to get in and play."

He averaged 20.7 minutes, 7.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game this season. He started his career with the Indiana Pacers, where he played for two seasons, and then moved to the Dallas Mavericks, where he played only 15 games during the 2008-09 season.
