With changes anticipated in the New York Knicks' organization this offseason, and the potential for a coaching search should Garden chairman James Dolan decide to sever ties with Isiah Thomas, Patrick Ewing could be ready to make another arrival in New York.
This time as a head coach.
"That's definitely something I want," Ewing said of becoming a head coach in the NBA, "but am I ready? You won't know until you get the offer."
Ewing is in his fifth season as an assistant coach and his first on Stan Van Gundy's staff with the Orlando Magic. He previously worked with Jeff Van Gundy with the Houston Rockets.

he would restore pride and toughness. he'd also be perfect if we're gonna be stuck with those sloppy heartless big men of ours.
i wonder why he hasn't patrolled our sidelines to date yet. he must still be salty about getting traded.
--as well he should be.

Didn't see that one coming...Anyone but Isiah!
It's time for Dolan to stop being arrogant and admit he was wrong trusting Isiah Thomas,
