NBA - Scoop Du Jour

Kemba Walker has another year of eligibility at the University of Connecticut, but CBS Sports reports that he's giving up his Big Man on Campus status and moving on to the NBA.

Walker has scheduled a press conference for Tuesday afternoon and there is no doubt that it is to announce his intention of entering the draft, CBS reports.

Walker had his jersey retired last week after he and his teammates brought home a national championship, the Greenwich Times reports.

Walker averaged 23.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this season, and his 965 points and 11 30-point games were the most ever in a single season by a UConn player, the Greenwich Times notes.
