Ray Allen

Lamar Odom's shoulder tackle on Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen Sunday earned the Los Angeles Lakers forward a one-game suspension, but Odom's play is indicative of the kind of physical play the Celtics have been seeing lately.

And they can expect more of it. The Celtics have started to see a few more elbows in the past two or three weeks, according to Paul Pierce.

"We've been noticing that for the last, probably, 15 games," said Pierce. "Teams are really going to get up for us. They're going to come after us. They're going to try to get us out of our game. We've just got to keep our composure and stay away from those types of things."

Oh yeah, Odom was a biaotch for that hit. Would have been real fu(ked up if Allen got seriously injured because of it.

Just like the old days with bird and magic! That comes at the price of being top dog. Plus no one likes boston anymore. Redsox winning, patriots going undefeated celtics remerging as a dominate force...I don't know what the bruins are doing atm though. As for Odoms swan dive into allen it was because of bent up frustration of a lot of calls not being called and an overall physical game. That plus the lakers shots were just not falling. There had to be at least 10-15 shots that rimmed in and came out. Thats more frustrating then just a brick. Lakers will rebound and celtics are gona start getting pushed more and more. Kinda like the patriots toward the end of the season when everyone played them better.
    GO LAKERS!

Lakers are a team on the rise and are currently power ranked in the top ten, and they got B-I-T-C-H smacked by the Celtics in LA. Games need to have meaning and be competitive to have the title of "rivalry" games, a cheap shot from that soft 7 footer on a scrawny shooting guard does nothing to re-create the Bird & Magic days.
PS. Nice Daisy Dukes Lakers.... losers!

Ray allen is not the best nba player. They think he is but that's not true. I know the next time they play the Lakers they will lose to the lakers. Lakers need to play more defense as they been playing.

Geez...first the Pats fans, then the Sox fans, now we have to listen to the [profane]ass Celts fans. God, please destroy Boston. There have never been worse sports fans than those from Boston/New England the past few years. Can't wait to see the Celts play the Spurs (and I hate the Spurs, but at least their fans are legit).

TONI, how do you know the Lakers will beat the C's next time they play? They are a fraud team, led by a fraud coach, followed by fraud fans who go to the games for people watching purposes only. And you Toni are a fraud!
