Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic(notes) wants to put to rest some rumors that Arizona Republic was hearing out of Greece that had him quitting pro ball in America after his contract runs out in 2012.

The paper received an email from him that assured Suns fans that he wants to stick around town for a lot longer.

"This news is not correct, because I made a statement that I want to end my basketball career in Europe. So this is a big misunderstanding of the Greek (journalist)," he wrote. "In this moment I'm very happy in the NBA and I'm not going to Europe! I am a member of the Phoenix Suns, and my desire is to stay in Phoenix for many years!"

The 6-3 Yugoslavian guard averaged 7.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and three assists per game for the Suns last year.
