Parker inactive during investigation of valet parking incident

Miami Heat coach Pat Riley said guard Smush Parker would be inactive while the team investigates an allegation that Parker twisted a woman's arm during an argument over a valet parking fee.

Parker wasn't at practice Thursday and didn't accompany the team for its game at Boston Friday night. Riley later issued a statement saying that Parker would be away from the team until it completed its own investigation of the incident.

"He has not been suspended and is currently on our inactive list," Riley said in the statement. "This is a legal matter and we will have no further comment until the legal process runs its course."

    Smush does have a way of making an impression for his new employer, doesn't he? If the allegations prove to be true, just another example of an athlete thinking he's above the laws of common decency.
    It's a shame, really, when you consider the amount of money they make and what they do, that they treat others this way.

    Smush has been pretty inactive anyway, so I don't know why he was rushing to get to practice. Now he'll have time to make sure he enough cash on hand to meet his responsibilities.

    Smush Parker's real name is IHEARTRASHAD. Someone should introduce him to that thing, what's it called? Oh yea... DEFENSE. That ole! defense isn't cutting it anymore. Anyways, it's not like he's a bullfighter.

    forget about smush and lets concentrate about the real problem at hand...how in the world haven't the Knicks fired Isiah yet? He's hired nothing but "street thugs" who are all ball hawgs and can't trust one another. The entire team should be dismantled and the Knicks should begin "rebuilding!" Good job Isiah, you've managed to turn a prime team into a comic show that gets more boooo's than Britney Spears!
