The New Jersey Nets have had talks with the Golden State Warriors involving multiple players, including unhappy Warriors Al Harrington and Marco Belinelli according to The Record of Hackensack (N.J.).

The Warriors wanted either Josh Boone or Sean Williams. The Nets weren't interested. Eventually, they likely will make a trade. The Nets have seven power forwards/centers, but currently only four healthy so nothing is imminent.

"We talk to people a lot," Nets president Rod Thorn said. "Most of it's idle chatter like with most teams. I don't really have anything to say about it."

Make the trade...for whoever. I would take a bag of peanuts for Al at this point. We don't need his minutes anymore.
    Go W's.

Anderson has had a nice start to the season. I doubt they want to give him up, but I would love to get him. I always thought he should have gotten more recognition. Lead the Pac 10 in scoring, but was ignored by the mainstream media. GO W's and Bears!

What's taking so long? Neither Boone or Sean Williams make the Nets a better team anyway, and Harrington's contract comes off the books in time for 2010

Al Harrington should be playing big mins somewhere. GS did the same last year, just trade the man for a pg or g. Both teams are stocked at pf/c. Go Celtics

Harrington has mental lapses and Bellnelli can't play D. I could do without Harrington, but I still like Bellinelli. And those two should fetch more than Boone or Williams...they're scrubs!!!

Forget Boone and Williams... I'd rather leave Al inactive and let Marco develop. Both of them are better than Boone or Williams. Plus Jersey already handed their trash off to us in Marcus Williams... don't need a second helping. If anything is coming back for Al - let alone Al plus a young prospect - let it be a genuine PG.

GS is desparate for a big man. They have no legitimate big man except for Biedrins. The rest of their bigs are total garbage. The Nets could definitely use Harrington and with his salary coming off the books in time for 2010, it's a no-brainer move.

Chris M, you don't know what you are talking about. Other than Biedrins there is Turiaf who leads the league in blocks per minutes played, and B Wright who will be a very solid player one day. A Randolph will be the best player on the Warriors in 3 years.... and this includes Monta.
GS needs a point guard not looking for a Big

Al and marco both are pretty decent Nba player, so please if Ws really wanna make the trade make sure who can be on rotation or more we don't need bench warmer.if Ws made the trade didn't work it out they gonna be on 10 seat on western conference this season and next cuz of young team.so I don't think there is any passion left, probably nelly might fire, josh Boone and sean make team more younger and just think it will do it,it's gonna be future future which mean long time from now,so future is think about gettin done this year or next.this is Nba there not that many chances
