“CourtneySwingman Courtney Lee(notes) is apparently pretty unhappy about getting shipped to the New Jersey Nets from the Orlando Magic after only one season in Florida as part of the Vince Carter(notes) deal back in June, according to the New York Post.

Lee's pal on the Magic, Dwight Howard(notes), is apparently saying that his 6'5" buddy isn't overjoyed so Howard is feeding him self-help catchphrases to help ease his pain: "I told him he needs to make the best out of the situation. Learn from it and just use whatever he thinks is negative as a positive for motivation," said Howard.

Poor guy will just have to suffer with the $1.2 million he'll be making this season.

I understand not wanting to be in NJ. Orlando is a more fun, better weather and has a up and coming team. The only was the NJ is going to contend is with Jay-Z snagging Lebron. Sorry Nets fans, even you know that is the truth.

Happy or unhappy just play to the best of your ability and try to prove the magic wrong for trading you. If you become a star then you choose where you go next. The biggest problem with the Nets is the coach.

Courtney Lee is one bad stretch of shooting away from a trip 2 the D league.
It is NOT surprising that the Magic got rid of Lee & Alston, but kept JJ Redick
    & Pietrus!

He's going from a contending team to a lottery bound team. The rumor is making a mockery of what Lee probably is upset about. He was playing for a winner and now he's playing for a perrenial loser

hhm, Jersey or Orlando. Which would you choose is you had a choice? I'd choose Orlando every time. Of couse I lived in Orlando for 3 years. The point is in many cases you don't have a choice. The job takes you someplace and your only choice is go, or quit your job and hope to find another job. Part time jobs paying 1.2 milllion don't grown on trees. Lee can always make his off season home in Orlando. I agree with Dwight Howard, take the omey and make the best out of it.

Well you got florida weather year-round and now you are heading up north. You go from NBA finalists and next season contender to ~.500 team. I would be pissed too but this is a business and you have ot suit up and just play.

#15 nbrady62 its easy to look good your rookie year when you have a great team around you. Lets see how competetive he is in a team that is not good. Obviously, he cant do it alone and he won't but if he is a great "competator" than he should have a better (personal) year this year as he will actually be a constant go to guy. Chances are he is going to be traded anyways by 2010-11...or do you think he will be resigned over all the GREAT free agents that will be available?? NJ only interest was to dump salary for the 2010-11 season, they dont care about your boy Lee.

He is being a baby.. He figures it will be easy to get a championship ring by being in a great team...what about all those players that can put Lee to shame in basketball that are true hall of famers that have not had an opportunity to win a ring because of the [profane]ty teams they have been on?? Lee, grow up and play basketball!!!!! with your attitude you will never end up in a great team. Teams like great spirit, and players with great attitudes. Not players that complain because they play in NJ...awww..its ok baby..you will survive..Its not like the fans are happy you are here over VC..

He is being a huge baby. Lee should be happy he will get the touches and the minutes that we would never receive on a overloaded Magic team. This is his chance to show he can help lead a team of young players like himself. He should look around and realize that CDR, T-Will, Devin, Lopez, and Yi all have yet to reach their potential as NBA players, and that this team could surprise some teams this year like the Thunder did last year.
