NBA - Scoop Du Jour

The Orlando Magic take on the New York Knicks Monday night and it may have only nine players to go to battle with, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

On Friday night, New Jersey Nets guard Jordan Farmar(notes) fell into the leg of the Magic's Jameer Nelson(notes), causing Nelson to sprain his knee. He is a game-time decision for the Knicks game, the paper notes.

However, Magic coach Stan Van Gundy already has Nelson's ability to play the game as "doubtful," the Sentinel notes. Meanwhile, Van Gundy is already missing Quentin Richardson(notes) and J.J. Redick(notes) from his lineup.
