LeBron James(notes) and his reps have been talking to McDonald's for five years about some kind of endorsement deal and it's finally looking like James is ready to supersize his wallet a little more and they'll sip Shamrock Shakes together and seal the deal, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
James apparently spent the day on Monday shooting a commercial in Indianapolis with Larry Bird and Orlando Magic star Dwight Howard(notes). The word is that the ad is for the Golden Arches and will run during the Super Bowl.
Further speculation has it that the commercial is a throwback to the one Bird did with Michael Jordan for McDonald's in which the pair played an outrageous game of HORSE: Off the top of a skyscraper, through a window, bounce it off the scoreboard, nothing but net. That sort of thing. The winner would get a Big Mac and fries.
Looks like James and Howard will be the ones doing battle this time around.
