Jerry Crowe of the Los Angeles Times said what many fans of the Los Angeles Lakers will be thinking over the next few weeks.
Crowe wrote: "As evidenced by Wednesday night's second-half meltdown at San Antonio, this could be a rough patch for Lamar Odom and the Lakers. ...
"L.O. goes AWOL too often."
That could become especially troublesome for Phil Jackson and the Lakers, who play only eight of their next 22 games at Staples Center before Andrew Bynum's expected return in the second week of March.

They should have traded him instead of Caron Butler. Odom is to incosistent. He has been playing better of late, but he just can't play at that level every night.

With Fish / Farmar picking up the responsibility to bring the ball down the court, Lamar is a bit out of his strength.
Where he needs to concentrate is on the boards. He could dominate in that position with his agility, size and strength, but he doesn't go after it. He also needs to work on his spacing on smaller outside shooters. He has a weak close out and give way too much space.
For me, it's always about finding areas to improve otherwise it gets boring.
LO - Hit the boards and become a shut down defender and that smooth glide to the rack will come often enough.
