With the trading deadline only nine days away, the New York Knicks are shopping their two big men — Eddie Curry and Zach Randolph, several league executives who have talked to the Knicks in recent days said Monday.

It's not known exactly what coach Isiah Thomas is looking for in return — a Pau Gasol-type fire sale is not being conducted — but he's definitely trying to move both. The Knicks are also open to trading Malik Rose, but Curry and Randolph, who have failed to mesh during this 15-26 season, are the top priorities to send off.

"The problem is that Zach still is seen as the Zach Randolph from Portland — he's got baggage — and people wonder if this is it for Eddy," said one executive. "And, they've got some rough contracts."

Salt City News is reporting Miami is offering two cheerleading pom poms to the Knicks if Curry and Randolph come to Miami to work as peanut vendors. Seriously the Knicks only have two NBA roster type players that anybody would want -Lee and Robinson- the other players they would have to peddle to Greece.

the Knicks will never improve until they start from the top -- Isiah must go. His recent acquisition of Randolph followed by this news of shopping him and Curry around the league is just more wood for the huge fire he's started in NY.

Randolph seems to not be able to fit in anywhere. What a waste. I really thought with a new start he'd flourish..maybe he just needs to go to a real contender..

nobody would want jamal crawford? good analysis guy. lee and nate rob are good players but youre not winning a championship with them in your starting lineup. jamal's a proven scorer who hits big shots and has even played the point this year. he just doesn't get the recognition he deserves because he's got wastes of space like eddy curry and zach randolph to contend with along with the 5 guys on defense i dont think there's a single other starting C in professional basketball averaging less than 5 rebounds a game. Way to give up the future for this guy though. Remember when thomas traded nazr mohammed for malik rose? that was almost as good as taking fredrick weis over ron artest after he carried st. john's to the sweet 16.

I used to be a knicks fan, but now I can't be because Isaiah is such a low life scum. He has single handedly ruined th franchise for the present and the near future. They must get rid of him to have any chance of improving.

They need to break the entire thing apart and start the rebuild again... keep Lee and Crawford, everyone else - gone. We need character players - someone like Duncan or Nash - not dudes who sulk on the bench with towels over their heads.
