Folks, including head coach George Karl, were concerned that the Denver Nuggets would be missing Kenyon Martin's(notes) services for a few weeks due to a fracture suffered in a game Friday night against the Miami Heat, according to the Denver Post.
However, the rumors coming out about K-Mart's MRI is that there is no fracture and he'll be day-to-day with a bruised left fibula. "I feel better today than I did yesterday," Martin said Saturday. "I've broken the fibula twice in my right leg, and that's the way (the injury first) felt. . . . But I can tolerate playing. I'm not worried, man."
The team gets suspended guard J.R. Smith(notes) back on Tuesday when it goes up against the Chicago Bulls.
