“ChrisNew Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul(notes) has been out of the lineup since Nov. 13 with a severe left ankle sprain and the timetable for his return has only been defined as indefinite. But now Paul is apparently planning to return in 10 days, according to Rotoworld.com.

Paul supposedly still can't make quick cuts on his ankle but that must be feeling better if there's an actual window for his return.

An injured guy on the bench isn't exactly what the Hornets thought they'd be getting when they signed Paul to a $45 million three-year deal with a fourth-year option for $23 million that started this season.

"I want to play, but I know I can't," a frustrated Paul told the New Orleans Times-Picayune. "I'm mad right now because I'm tired of watching. I remember when I got hurt, everybody was saying 'how are you, not physically but mentally.' I was good for a while, but I'm about to go nuts sitting out."

    i would never draft chris paul on my fantasy team.
    go after someone like dwyane wade, kobe bryant, or lebron james.
    btw the team is playing better without paul dominating the ball.

    The Hornets are doing pretty well without him. I say trade Paul for a really good Center to compliment Okafor.

    chris paul has been the #1 rated fantasy player for the last 4 years until his current injury. he is, without a doubt, the best fantasy player there is. taking kobe or wade over chris paul would be idiotic.

    @dagoldeneagle
    never draft CP3?!?!?! I wish your basketball fantasy trophy case could back that statement up.
    a healthy CP3 will take you to the playoffs and will most likely get you a championship, especially considering the Hornets don't have the luxury of resting their star players at the end of the season like the Celts, Lakers, Cavs, etc who have dominating records at the end of the season.
    Take your fantasy drafting strategy back to the factory for more work.
