NBA - Sports Rumors

“GlenGlen Davis(notes) lost control of his senses the night before the season got underway and broke his right thumb in a fight with a friend. Now he's spent a month rehabbing the thing and it appears that he's close to coming back to full strength, according to the Boston Globe.

Davis has been frustrated while watching his teammates play to a 10-4 record: "It's tough to watch the games, knowing that you can help, knowing that you could be the deciding factor of the game,'' he said.

Davis is supposed to get his cast off on Dec. 2 and he'll have to do a little more rehabbing before he can get back into a game and do something with that frustration.

LOL #2!!! Why is this news. He aint all that close to returning and after rehabbing he'll probably be back around mid december...just when he was supposed to be when the news first hit weeks ago. Remind me again why Yahoo! pays this idiot Mark Miller?!?

the only difference Glen davis needs to worry about is "extra crispy or regular". Miller, lets write about players who actually matter.

ChrisJ, agreed, pointless article, considering he's not going to back until the week before Xmas or sometime around then. He's not even due to get the friggin cast off until next week and probably another week after that before he can handle a full practice.
I will say this, when he finally is ready to come back, he better be ready to battle for minutes with the way Sheldon Williams has played off the bench so far this season, and Sheed being Sheed will get his minutes too.

is this news? what does "big baby" thinks of himself like pau gasol of the los angeles lakers who when he finally rejoin the team had an impact ! with the addition of sheed wallace from their frontline, big baby would just spend more time sitting on his fat ass in the bench.

Dynasty/Paht, it is truly amazing to see just how many insecure Laker fans there are on these articles that just have to post dumb sh*t for the sake of posting dumb sh*t, with no actual knowledge of the game except for "the Lakers rule, everyone else s*cks, and I don't know anything else about basketball". You would think since the Lakers are the defending champs too, that would be like their pacifier for this season, but it just makes them whine and cry more. Truly amazing, and yet, so very pathetic at the same time that they can't even enjoy their own team's success.
And, as far anyone breaking down and showing signs of aging, looking at all the minutes Kobe has logged in his NBA career and how many Pau has logged between the NBA and international games, just how much longer you think they will last playing at a high level? The Lakers have such a wealth of young talent to fall back on except for Bynum, and he has 2 knees being held together by scotch tape? Starting to see where all this insecurity and paranoia is coming from. Once your God Kobe's game starts to slip and retires, which is going to be sooner than later at this stage in his career, where you going to turn to then?
    LET'S GO CELTICS!!!!!
