Gasol struggling and unhappy

Not playing so great is Memphis Grizzlies center Pau Gasol, who is said to be muttering a lot in Spanish to new teammate Juan Carlos Navarro.

Gasol is averaging 16.2 points and a soft 6.2 rebounds after consecutive four-rebound games and scoreless second halves. He took just one shot in the second half of each of those games, both losses.

He has been on the Chicago Bulls' radar for a year since asking out of Memphis, though he hardly seems worth giving up as much as Memphis would want for him.

Chicago can get this guy for nothing. Gordan, Noah & draft pick for Pau should get this deal done.
The Bulls need a low post threat or a guy that can create (Kobe) to get to the next level, because Detroit still rules the division.

This is where the Lakers can get in on this one. They could package Mihm, Kwame Brown (expiring contract as the attraction), and Sasha V for Pau Gasol. Memphis gets a young guard and two servicable centers for their unhappy superstar. This way, you can have Gasol starting and Bynum leading the second team for the Lakers.

if the price has fallen for gasol since last season ( which it should have), he would not be a bad pickup for the bulls. at this point, gordon and a draft pick sounds fair. there has to be change for the bulls very quickly. gasol now, maybe kobe later. lets get the talks rollin.13th!!!!!!!

    daisy
West let Lorenzen Wright go (he was their only true center). West traded Swift, then traded Battier to get Swift back. WTF? West made bad draft picks ( example Hakeem Warwick, Kyle Lowry). Then fired Fratello, then West left.

Mihm and Kwayme for a guy who usually averages 20 and 10 is absolute nonsense!! The Griz would never do that and Sasha is unproven. The Bulls are one of the few teams with attractive trade pieces and thats why they are always in rumors. The Lakers have no pieces for the trade market and thats why Kobe wants out because there is no other way to solve that problem other then trading him or Odom but no one wants Odom which is a shame cause is a very solid player

Gasol is definitely a good player with 20-10 capability but he's way too inconsistent, doing it 3 or 4 times a season isnt gonna get it done not to mention the fact that he doesnt make his teamates better nor has he made Memphis any better.......the Bulls would be a perfect fit for him but they would lose out on the defensive/intensity end but if he's not happy, then they should make a deal somewhere because obviously he's done all that he could in Memphis & what you see is what you get, no MORE no less

please check your facts, and re-post the truth instead of your absurd lies. Gasol has had as many as 38 double doubles in a season.'
Remember the Vancouver Grizzlies? Didn't Memphis make the playoffs for 3 straight years with Gasol as the go to guy? Didn't Gasol miss the 1st 23 games last year? What kind of start did the Griz have without him?
p.s. The Lakers didn't make the playoffs in 2005 with Kobe-Me. But the Grizzlies did with Gasol.
