Following the Boston Celtics' 100-88 loss to the New York Knicks last night, their fourth loss in six games, Kevin Garnett gave his blessing to the team bringing on former teammate Stephon Marbury.
"Anything that is going to help us get better, anybody comes in here who understands what we're doing, and that's getting better," said Garnett, who had been in the league for a year when Marbury joined Minnesota.
Marbury was drafted out of Georgia Tech by Milwaukee fourth overall and then traded to Minnesota for No. 5 selection Ray Allen. Marbury and Garnett played together for 2 1/2 years before Marbury was traded to New Jersey.
Marbury left the Timberwolves on bad note and reportedly in a dispute with Garnett.
"I think it's about making the team better," said Garnett. "I'm not opposed to Steph, I feel like he's got a lot of basketball left in him. I know his IQ is very, very high. He is one of the best point guards out there. I wouldn't be opposed to it. If Steph came to this team I'm all for that.''

Garnett and his antics on the court, is not a class act of itself. His yapping, his clapping, his blah blah blah, speaks it for himself, NO CLASS OF BEING A WINNER.

And if the Cavs have home court advantage in the series......it would probably be a sweep or go 5 games at the most...............

Not having Big Z might hurt us a little bit come this Friday......he generally plays pretty well against them.
But look for Mo and LBJ to carry us through this tough time.

Marbury is a cancer, a jerk, selfish, disloyal, etc. Boston is probably the only team that
can handle him and be stronger with him. Remember the Michael Jordan Era of
the Bulls with Dennis Rodman, it worked, but I doubt Rodman would have worked on
any other team. I'M NOT A CELTIC FAN! However they may still be the best team in
Basketball. Cleveland is the only eastern team that us a real challange to them.
Orlando and Atlanta are getting there, but they aren't there, yet. If Marbury wants to
fit in, he would help big time, in keeping Cleveland at bay. The same applies when
Boston will probably play the LA Lakers in the finals. Bottom line Starbury is a
real jerk, however he can ftill provide value, for the right team. He probably misses
playing and 99.9999% of all NBA players put huge value in gaving a Championship
Ring. Maybe even enough to show some restraint.
