LeBron James lit up Madison Square Garden for 50 points Wednesday and, in a frightening moment, got a high-5 and handshake from a crazed fan who raced onto the court in the final seconds the New York Post reported.

The incident occurred on the Cavaliers' bench after King James was removed with 23 seconds left to a standing ovation in the Cavs' 119-105 victory over the KnicksNew York Knicks . The fan was removed by Garden security and arrested. James lit the Knicks up for seven 3-pointers, including a 38-foot buzzer-beater at halftime and four treys in the final 2:07.

"When you get a fan come down and express the way he feels about you, he loves the way I play," James said. "I'm 6-9, 260, I'm all right. To get a standing ovation in the greatest basketball arena in the world, is a dream come true to me," James said.

"He shot 16-of-30 from the field, including 7-of-13 from 3-point range, in his second 50-point game this season. He exited with fans standing and chanting “MVP!” in the final minute. One fan in a Cavaliers jersey ran onto the floor toward the Cleveland bench, even saying a few words to James, before being turned away by security and arrested."
It lokos as if the New York fans tend to think that LBJ is the MVP over Kobe........Go Figure..........

That was more impressive than Kobe's 52 considering the 10 assists and only 16 free throws. Both players are incredible, I just like calling Kobe "I shoot it".

All of our different opinions are what make it interesting.
I just thought it was funny that Stealer said "let's give it to them today."
It's like he is preparing for battle.

Hey farryl...what made it more impressive, is that he told Spike Lee that he was going to do it. There are only two players in the league who can do that.

What's more important Cleveland fans, Lebron winning a title, or the Cavs? If we don't win the title this year, I say we trade Lebron. I know...collective gasp...but he is leaving. The mutual man crush between him and Jay Z is painfully obvious, and unless Dan Gilbert can figure out how to trade Usher (Partial Cavs owner) for the Jigga Man...we're losing the King anyway. Trade James next season for a star player and 2-3 draft picks. No need to rebuild, with what James would pull in return would be a re-load for the Cavs. If you can't get a star player in return, no big deal. Take a trade to secure some draft picks, and some cap space. Sign a couple guys and make this about the TEAM'S success...not Lebron's.

Last night when I was watching Sportscenter, they showed him talking to spike. Then he shot a three or something, and the camera zoomed in on him, and he mouthed the word 50 to Spike.
    What about Joe Nameth?

The L-Train just pulled into the station with 50!!!! and that guy who ran on the court is the man, we should give him season tickets to the cavs because he is the definition of an ultimate fan. Go cavs, and lebron and the cavs can get back to the finals now with a new revamped team.

Typical MSG double-standard. Of course fans shouldn't be allowed on the court and there shouldn't be contact between fans and players. and there should be one set of rules for everyone. So what about the douchebags at courtside, like Chicken-Spiker Lee? They get away with stuff that would get you or me thrown out, arrested, and maybe beaten up by security.

That is stupid! If LBJ agrred to give the high five then LBj is partially to blame! Sure anyone can score 50 plus on the Knicks, let see him do that out in the West! Kobe for MVP!
    Go Lakers!
