Mesage to Bucks fans. i've read so many comments regarding how good Bogut is. Bogut is decent, nothing more. He will never be an all-star and you don't build your team around a decent player who will be outplayed or dominazted by several of his counterparts for his entire career. If he has dtrade value nnow pull the plug and begin the drebuilding.

Good for you collins, smart move outside of redd and bogut what does this team have anyway, i see no future for that team unless they find some good players to add that redd-bogut combination

Ah Bogut has 14ppg on a team full of ball hogs. As well as 9.5rpg and 1.8bpg in only his third year. Did I mention he has a career 53% from the field. Saying he will never be an All Star when he just keeps getting better and hasent hit his full potential after only being in the league 3 years is a bold statement. He will either get traded or the Bucks will make a few moves and maybe get better. With only one dominate center in the East if the bucks are 500 Bogut goes is an All Star. Now after you read this and you still think your right you might need to d/rebuild your head.

Yeah, i agree greg, the guy has his head up his butt. On top of what you said already, bogut, constantly holds his own against some of the elite centers in the league and often times outproduces them.

No matter who the bucks put in there, with Herb Kohl they will not be a winning organization. He lacks vision and is too tight with his money; and the money he does spend it is usually done stupidly.
Michael Redd, Mo Williams, Charlie Bell and Dan Gadzuric are getting major money and are not factors. If on another team, these players would be role players. Before you respond by saying Michael Redd is a former all-star but since then what has he done. He is a ball-hog who is the biggest sive on defense put anyone on him and they look like offensive superstars.
What the Bucks need to do is major spring cleaning. Keep Andrew Bogut, Desmond Mason and R. Sessions; then trade or clean out house with the coach included.
    My suggestions:
    1) Trade Yi for Brandon Wright and Patrick O'Bryant- Yi will not stick in milwaukee so get something for him now.
    2) Trade M Redd and Charlie Villenueva for Memphis' 1st round pick and Darko Milliac; depending where the lotto balls fall maybe they can luck out and get either the 1st or 2nd pick; if 2nd draft Derreck Rose. A true PG with great vision and team ball.
    3) With Milwaukee's 1st pick, go for Blake Griffin. He is a monster and anchors your frontline.
    4) Trade Mo Williams and 2nd round pick to Cleveland Cavs for their 1st round pick, this pick would be around 19th; they can either pick up Anthony Randolph (LSU) or Darrell Arthur (Kansas).
    5) Get Chip Engelland to be their head coach. Under the Spurs he has gained a lot of experience in winning and defense. With a young team, he could develop something special.
    New line-up
    PG- Derrick Rose
    SG- Desmond Mason
    C- Andrew Bogut
    SF- Brandon Wright
    PF- Blake Griffin
    Bench:
    PG- R Sessions
    C- Patrick O'Bryant
SF/F- Anthony Randolph (LSU) or Darrell Arthur (Kansas)
    G- Bobby Simmons
    F/C- Darko Milliac
This team would be fun to watch, athletic and very long. The first yr together would be the learning year and fans wouldn't mind a losing year which gives them a chance to pick up another great draft pick for the 2009 draft.

Doug Collins? He has never been with the Bucks. Why do teams always go for the has beens elsewhere? Kareem Abdul Jabbar for coach. At least, under him they won a championship. Keep Michael Redd, Andrew Bogut, Yi and Mo Williams. Trade the rest for draft picks. GO BREWERS!!!

Trade Mo Williams, Bobby Simmons, and 2nd round pick to Memphis for their 1st round pick. Draft Derrick Rose, and trade Michael Redd plus Bogut for 1st round pick and Alonzo Mourning. Draft Michael Beasley and thats your team.
    Starters-
    PG: Rose
    SG: Desmond Mason
    SF: Beasley
    PF: Villanueva
C: Mourning (assuming he is healthy, and doesn't quit the Bucks like he did Toronto)

....and Vincent., Vinny, Vin......dude your name is Vinny. Relax.
Watch your mouth Vin Diesel. As an owner, you couldn't ask for more than what the ol' man Herb has given us. He made Kohl the highest paid coach in all of sports, and he's doled out millions for players, for you basement GM's that translates into "he's not afraid to spend cash"
He turned down Jordan's offer because he wanted to make sure the team stayed. but according to you that must count for nothing now a days right? Get off the guys back, he's as big a fan as we are, he just happens to own the team.

5 and 6, 1 here. Let's see if I got this right- Bogut is in a conference with one good center and that's your argument he'll be an all-star. i think that would serve as an argument to say his numbers, though decent are the product of less than stiff competition. Three years in the league, he'll get beter. Big men traditionally take longer to develop, so maybe, but that development is usually on the offensive end, so don't expect more rebounds and blocked shots in the future. His free throw shooting woes doesn't bode well for an all around offensive game, such as hurting teams from fifteen feet, thus unclogging the middle. But time will tell. The bottom line is the Bucks need an identity, every good team has one. you want to build around Bogut, fine, trade everyone and be bottom feeders until you rack up enough talent where he is the fourth or fifth option, because on a championship team that's what he'll be. Or trade Bogut who should bring something in return, and basically scrap the rest as well. My knock on Bogut isn't that he's awful, he's decent. But on a half court grind it out team is he a defensive stopper, no, he is a dominant drebounder, no. Will he be a dominant low post threat, unlikely or no. On a fast breaking team dthe same applies' but can he trail a play and kill you with a fifteen footer, his free throw percentage suggests unlikely, or no. The Bucks have a chance to clean house, hopefully get a couple all-star in the making types and build their future around them. Clean house, getsome draft picks and build from scratch. Don't build around a center who will dominate in any one facet or have the all around game of an all star. Trade him while he's young to someone like Memphis or Seattle and get a great pick for him.

I am sorry that you missed the game where Yi had 34 points, 11 ebounds & 4 blocks.
Yi has had double doubles with 3-4 blocks more often than Kobe-me or Lebron.
Pay attention before you comment, da*n it! lol
