Citing several NBA sources, the Boston Globe reported the Los Angeles Clippers are seriously considering removing the general manager duties from coach Mike Dunleavy and replacing him with an experieced front-office manager.
According to The Globe, some names being mentioned for the job include: former Heat GM Randy Pfund, a former Lakers coach, and ex-Lakers and Grizzlies GM and Hall of Famer Jerry West. If a new GM is brought in, Dunleavy would be expected to remain as coach in large part because he is under contract until 2011.
