LeBron James

LeBron James's best game of the series was soured by a third quarter that gave the Boston Celtics momentum and doomed the Cleveland Cavaliers. His numbers were impressive: 12 of 25 from the field, 11 of 13 from the stripe, 35 points. James chipped in three rebounds and five assists to go with the explosive production, but in the third quarter of last night's 96-89 loss, he suffered the single-digit blues the Boston Globe reported.

James converted just one of his five shots in the period, accounting for 2 points as the Cavaliers were throttled by the hot-shooting (12 for 16) Celtics, 29-17. The Cavaliers shot 38.9 percent (7 of 18) from the floor and now must win Game 6 tomorrow night in Cleveland to avoid elimination in the best-of-seven second-round series.

"We start off well, but we go through a lapse on offense," James said. "Tonight it was the third quarter. They made us turn the ball over. They came down and scored, they got us on our heels, and we were down 12. You can't go down 12 on the road, especially in a place of this magnitude."

LeBron James is not clutch in crunchtime = The Cleveland Downfall!!! Regardless that the BIG 3 had a alright game, they need to play much more harder than they did lastnite if they want to win in Cleveland Friday night.

If cavs would pull off one good trade for another star player then they would be much stronger, dang man give Lebron somebody to play with. But hopefully for him that is in the future.Every one picks apart the stars, know why cause they ain't got them on there team,PERIOD

Hello! 1) This wasn't LeBron's "best game" of the series ... it was his best shooting performance. 2) LeBron is far from a crybaby. If one of you saps was out there getting hit like that you'd be in the infirmary 3) The Cavs let the Celtics off the hook big time by losing their intensity after building a 14 pt. lead. 4) The series isn't over yet. The Cavs could have won game one and they could have won last night if they had played with urgency. They will have no choice but to play with urgency now ... and they CAN win two game.
As to the rest of your comments ... please, grow some brain cells.

If I was one of Cleveland's opponents, I would want LeBron to blow up and score 40 points, as long as I hold the rest of his team to 40 points. The way to beat LB is to control his team and force the man to put the club on his shoulders. Call it last year's "Kobe Factor"; controlling the pace of the team while letting the superstar score at will should get you a better shot than letting the team shine as a whole.

I don't see why #9 is so confident when this whole playoffs your so called "Big three" has been struggling with so called "inferior" teams. If Lebron is a crybaby I guess some of his tears fell on that Crackhead Garnett when Lebron put him on a poster. Cavs in 7 but if my Cavs lose Celtics fan don't celebrate too early because the Pistons have your ticket lol

LB is a cry baby because he flops all over the place trying to get foul calls. If he was a true superstar he wouldn't need to do that- he should be above that, but he's not- because he's a cry baby.
The media keeps saying things like "wait until LB gets going"- well, what is going to happen in a game when KG, Pierce and Allen score 20 points each? And them scoring 20 each is nothing! Yet they haven't gotten on track yet. The Cavs and their fans should be thankful that Boston, not LB, is in a slump. This series would have been a sweep if Ray Allen would have shown up.

cavs. wasted an opportunity.I think james was cheated, he think he is left alone and try to take all the balls to himself. The team had only 6 assists in the 1st half with lebrons 23 points. He can not win shampionship by himslef. He scored 23/46 1st half points, he did not involve the rest of the team as early as possibe.Great players take over after they test their teamate. He took it early and when boston decide to gard him well it was very hard for the rest of the team to get their rhythm.
