Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert will take a seat courtside Monday so he can watch the work of Turkish center Enes Kanter, who will be having his second workout with the team leading up to the NBA draft on Thursday night.
The 19-year-old's manager says the team is considering his client for the No. 1 pick, Yahoo! Sports' Marc J. Spears reports. The team also has the fourth overall pick.
"It wouldn't be necessary for Enes to go again if he isn't being considered for the top pick," Kanter's manager, Max Ergul, tells Spears. "Their word to me is good enough for him to return. They said they didn't make a promise to anyone for No. 1."
Last week, Cavs coach Byron Scott told Yahoo! Sports that two players were in the running for the overall first pick: Duke point guard Kyrie Irving and Arizona forward Derrick Williams.
Kentucky point guard Brandon Knight is also working out for the Cavs Monday, Spears notes.
