NBA - Scoop Du Jour

Plenty of teams want Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony(notes), but he is mostly focused on finding a way to join the New York Knicks or the Chicago Bulls, according to ESPN Chicago.

From ESPN Chicago: "Over the last 72 hours, sources said, Anthony's representatives -- headed by agent Leon Rose -- have been ramping up the pressure on the Nuggets to complete a deal with the Knicks or the Bulls before training camps open leaguewide next week."

The problem is that the Knicks don't have enough quality that it can trade. They already sent some of their draft picks -- picks that Denver would want -- to the Houston Rockets last year for Tracy McGrady(notes), according to the New York Times. While the Knicks would love Anthony right now, they know they have a better chance to land him next summer when Eddy Curry's(notes) salary is cleared out. So Knicks fans are surely hoping if Anthony goes somewhere else, he doesn't sign an extension and will still be available next summer.
