The Milwaukee Bucks' 7-foot center, Andrew Bogut(notes), is "doubtful" for Friday's game against the Detroit Pistons and Saturday's game against the Charlotte Bobcats, head coach Scott Skiles told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Bogut has been recovering from April surgery on his right hand and got it knocked last Friday. The soreness from that contact forced him to miss practice Wednesday, the paper reports. He had already missed Tuesday's win over the Chicago Bulls.
"If he doesn't do anything [Thursday], I'm not going to throw him out there in a game when he hasn't practiced in a couple days," Skiles said. "That doesn't seem to make any sense. Maybe it will be this weekend [he's out] and he will play next week. We'll just see how he feels."
The Bucks are set to play on Saturday as well against the Charlotte Bobcats but then have a four-day rest before taking on the Washington Wizards.
