After he was selected second overall by the Miami Heat, forward Michael Beasley said one of his first goals was to prove to NBA evaluators he would turn out to be the best player in his draft. Beasley won't have to wait long to begin that process. Beasley and the Heat will face No. 1 pick Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls on Monday on the opening day of the Orlando Pro Summer League.
The Heat will hold its first minicamp practice Wednesday in preparation for the five-games-in-five-days schedule in Orlando. Joining Beasley on the Heat's summer-league roster are second-round pick Mario Chalmers and returning players Daequan Cook, Stephane Lasme and Kasib Powell.
Heat assistant Keith Askins will coach the summer-league team, which includes several other notables on the roster. Among them are former St. Joseph's forward Pat Calathes, an older brother of Florida guard Nick Calathes, former Louisville center David Padgett and former Davidson guard Jason Richards, who ranked among the nation's leaders in assists last season. After Monday's game against the Bulls, the Heat plays games in consecutive days against the Nets, Pacers, Sonics and Magic.

Then throw the rest of our our cash at Nenad Krystic.... aprox. 4 million.....
The heats biggest worry would be at the centre position, we can always easily resign J.Will with a slight pay-cut, but Krystic would help the heat a lot at both ends, just a big pressence is what the heat needs...
TBH I have no idea how much Nenad will want to get paid, but just took a guess at 4 million.

ARROYO, WADE, MATRIX, BEASLEY AND THE UNDERRATED BUT EFFICIENT MARK BLOUNT can make a lot of noise and still have a respectable bench in Haslem, Mourning, Ratliff, Davis and others. All of this without much investment and with trading chips available for the market, think about it........
